Technology is crazy

Britton Kowalk

My teacher just showed us this video of how fast the little read/write heads inside your harddrive move. They use precision electromagnets to move to the correct location ridiculously quickly. Watch whenever it goes to one of the tracks on the inside of the disk… you can barely see the thing! And it’s reading and writing tracks smaller than… heck I don’t know how small. You could fit a lot of them on a bacteria, though.

PS I haven’t heard the audio to this video since I’m in class right now… so if the guy has turret’s or something, my bad.

The Beatles

So you will probably start watching this and be severely confused, and then start laughing out loud. I will give you a head start and let you know that it is kind of like that old Indian thriller video, but in this they take what it looks like they are saying and add a song.

HTML 5 Demo

Tyson Call

Using either Chrome or Safari 5, go here and see what HTML 5 can do! This is not a boring tech demo, it is an interactive music video. Just sit back after you start it, you don’t need to click anything, just let it happen.
